Genji Kagutsu (迦具都玄示, Kagutsu Genji)was the first Red King and the late predecessor to Mikoto Suoh.He is the cause of the Kagutsu Crater incident, which changed the topography of Japan at the time of its occurrence. This not only killed Genji Kagutsu, but also resulted in the death of the previous Blue King.
